Olympic Dreams

No, I'm not an athletic sort with ambitions to 'go for gold', but I've certainly enjoyed watching these opening days of the Olympics.  Apart from anything else it mens our own trip to Beijing is just that little bit closer.  That 'bird's nest' stadium looks amazing!  I'm assuming we'll have the opportunity to see a bit of it, from a distance at least, when we get there.

One of the advantages of traveling to China during the year it hosts the Olympics is that there have been lots of programmes and documentaries on TV about China and it's more famous sites.  I particularly enjoyed one the other night about the Great Wall, and to think, in just a few weeks, we'll be there...  I can hardly wait!
